Today is just a gloomy, winter day. I went and visited with my new friend from BackYard Chickens website this morning. She, her husband, their children, and many chickens and animals live almost to the end of Rose Valley Road. That lady has some awesome chickens! I am going to be getting some from her later this spring. I can hardly wait.
Tomorrow I will be picking up 2 weaner pigs and at least one rabbit. I'll probably be getting a female rabbit and then I will keep looking for a male. I can't get one of each from the same litter to use for breeding or the babies will come out looking like that squinty-eyed, toothless, hairless kid from the movie "Deliverance". You know who I'm talking about....the dweeb that played "Dueling Banjos" and was hanging on that bridge over the river.
