Working On The New Chicken House

I am presently turning my irrigation well pump house into a chicken pen. Today we got the nest boxes (buckets) almost finished. They look really cool!
We also went grocery shopping right here in Castle Rock. About all I buy is fresh veggies & sugar-free creamer for my coffee. I did get Tip some special treats today tho...She likes em'! When we got home I made up a nice pork roast and put in the oven. It turned out excellent! No potatoes, just celery, onions, and carrots.
I took pictures to go with my March installment of the "Open Season" column for The Valley Bugler. The photos show in detail how I set up a K-13 Kwikfish for Spring Chinook fishing and also how I fillet, prepare, and install my sardine wraps.
We are supposed to be in for some unseasonably warm, sunny weather this next week. I am hoping to get my spring landscaping prep & cleanup done. The plan is that if I get it done now, then I won't need to be working on it when the Springers are in the river in late March.
